I actually bought this item for an aging pet who has become nocturnally incontinent and sleeps with his human parents. If needed, I can wash and dry the pad daily and find this more reasonably priced than the use once, throw away pads. I was looking for a solution to this problem for sometime and I'm glad to have purchased the pad.
